Honda ABS Module Failing? Here's What to Do
Is Your Honda ABS or VSA Warning Light On?
If your ABS or VSA light is illuminated on your Honda Accord, Civic, or Pilot, your ABS/VSA control module may be failing — and it's more common than you think.
Common symptoms of a failing ABS module:
- ABS, VSA, or traction control warning lights on the dash
- ABS activating during normal braking
- Speedometer dropping to zero intermittently
- Loss of cruise control functionality
Why does this happen?
Honda ABS modules from 2007–2018 are known to fail due to internal capacitor degradation and solder joint failures — often triggered by heat cycles over time.
Can it be fixed without replacing the module?
Yes. In most cases, the module itself can be professionally repaired and reprogrammed — no dealership replacement needed. Our flat-rate mail-in repair service restores your module to factory spec with a no-fix, no-fee guarantee.
How the repair works:
- Place your order online
- Ship your ABS module to our Texas repair facility
- We diagnose, repair, and test your module
- Your module ships back — ready to reinstall
